You can watch (bookmark) individuals, organisations or things that are important to you. As a result, you can keep track of the status of certificates awarded to your staff, consultants, customers, suppliers, or competitors.
First of all, search for entities to watch and then click the watch item to add them to your default list. You can watch items in a personal capacity in your personal account, or you can watch items on behalf of your organisation.
To help organise watched items, you can create watchlists that group the items. These can be given an appropriate name like 'Supply chain', 'suppliers', etc.
It is also possible to filter the certification schemes appropriate to a watchlist by entering the certification scheme identifier (this is the long serial number that is shown on a certification scheme's profile page web address). This way, you can just focus a watchlist on the types of certificates that are relevant.
Notification settings can also be fine-tuned for each watchlist.
If you create a watchlist on behalf of an organisation you are affiliated with, you can share the watchlist with colleagues. They can be designated a 'viewer' of the watchlist, or if you prefer, an 'editor' able to add/remove items to/from it.
You can also add a service account to the watchlist. This is to support the API endpoint that enables watched objects to be added or removed from a watchlist. In this case the service account also needs to be set as an 'Editor'.
