This is the growing Knowledge Base for BlockMark Registry.
Our aim is to make the platform as intuitive to use as possible, but the world of certificates is complicated and over the years we’ve been asked to add lots of features to satisfy lots of different needs. So don’t worry if something doesn’t quite make sense and you need to dive into this resource for a fuller explanation!
And if you can’t find the answer you need, do get in touch, as we’re here to help.
Because BlockMark Registry is a cloud-based software-as-a-service web application, it is continually being updated and improved. We endeavour to keep this knowledge base in sync, but sometimes things get a bit out of step, so please accept our apologies if you spot something that’s wrong. Let us know and we’ll do our best to correct it as soon as possible.
The user guide is accessible from the side (←) menu and takes you through the various features available in BlockMark Registry.
This section points you to resources as they become available for particular roles and actions.

This section will highlight some specific case studies illustrating certain features and their benefits.
This section answers some common questions.
Your certificate will be visible on your received certificates page in your personal account if it was awarded to you personally. If you are receiving a certificate on behalf of an organisation, it will be on the received certificate page for that organisation. You can switch between your personal account and any organisation accounts you are associated with using switch accounts in the top menu bar. You can read more about navigation. if you are receiving a certificate for a thing, you'll need to switch account based on whether you are a custodian of the thing personally or on behalf of an organisation.
You will receive an email whenever you receive a certificate. The email address used to send the certificate also needs to be associated with your personal account or organisation account for it to appear there. You can mitigate this by adding other valid email addresses you use to your account in advance, or you can click through from the email on receipt, and this will add the email when you log in as normal.
You can read more about receiving certificates. If you are still unable to locate your certificate, please contact us or the certification body / accreditation body that issued it to you.

The issuer of your certificate can make any corrections, so please get in touch with them directly. If you contact us about this issue, it may take longer to resolve as we will need to forward your query on to the issuer to action.
If you do not need to assist the organisation any further (for example with managing the certificate, the IT, etc), you should forward the certificate using the forwarding link on the email. This will allow them to set their own account up on the platform and for it not to be linked to your email address.
If you intend to manage their account, you can onboard the platform using the link on the certificate email and create / join their organisation. You will then be able to manage their certificates, invite their staff, transfer ownership, etc as appropriate. If you do this for many organisations, you will be able to manage each by switching to them from the dashboard.

This can happen if the unique number identifying an organisation was entered incorrectly when a certificate was issued. Contact us to explain which organisations need merging, and we'll sort this out for you.
If you are just a member of staff listed in the current users of the organisation, you should ask the admin/owner or another staff member with permissions to manage users to ‘dismiss’ you. This will remove your access from the organisation, but you will still be able to log in to the platform to reach your personal area and any other organisations you are associated with.
If you are the admin/owner of the organisation, you should read this section about transferring ownership.
